As a small child, I developed an interest in art spending hours alone in my room drawing pictures of my sports heroes, musicians and other people who were significant in my life. My interest in art has continued throughout my life.
I paint about emotions, feelings and state of being: sadness; shame; anger; indifference; love; serenity; happiness and triumph, all part of the human experience that connects us all.
I want my art to speak to the viewer and evoke a response that is either pleasing or thought provoking. If my art can do that, I will be satisfied.
